Lt. Bob Outman - WWII navigator and POW

 2nd Lt. Robert E. Outman 
 Navigator - 390th Bomb Group - 570th Squadron
 Stalag Luft I - North Compound 2, Barracks 4,       Room 5

 Bob's plane collided with another B-17 over Hoorn, Holland on July 7, 1944.  Seven out of the twenty crewmembers survived. Of the seven,  one evaded and the others were taken as prisoners of war.  After the war Bob worked for Commercial Credit for 36 years, married and has a son, a daughter and four grandchildren.   Click here to send and email to Bob.
